    I have this button hook ft. Shakespeare/Shakespeare's House.

    Does anyone know which decade this piece may be from?

    I can't find another one to compare.

    I remember a button hook being used to button my shoes when I was a little girl.

    i've seen things like this in souvenir shops at historic sites so it might be fairly recent. You might want to look at the museum gift shop either at his house or in the town and see if they are listed for sale even now.
