I've got a really nice egg pendant. Joan Rivers! ;)

Please don't scratch it.:nailbiting: You can rub it on a testing stone and put a drop of the acid on the streak on the stone

The OP's egg has rhinestones glued in around the top. Probably not worth scratch testing.

My Joan Rivers egg was one whole pound from a dealer who was sans clue. ;) It's nice quality, too.

Personally, just not seeing other than relatively recent production, with, as already said, glued on rhinestones (or 'Swarovski crystals'), the enamel appears to be epoxy rather than vitreous, with the white flowers under a second layer of slightly cloudy pale green, the yellow and black on the ribbons are somewhat messily applied, and St. George is lacking in detail. The stand, which should indeed be pointy side up, may be by the same manufacturer, but have a really hard time seeing them as belonging together (what is that sticking up in the center?) - there are numerous vendors, many Russian, on eBay, Etsy, and online shops selling similar 'Fabergé-style' pieces, some in silver gilt, but most base metal.

Curious as to the size, and see several shots of the hinge, but not the closure - does it look like that on the piece shown below (which also looks like it might match your stand):

I think this is modern work.
Casting and not assembling the sign of st. George is cheap.
Stylization a la order of st. George and george ribbons - modern fashion.
