Mysterious Marks

Hi all,

I haven't had much luck lately finding silver so I'm trying a few other options. I came across an item for sale, and this is what is marked on the bottom, can anyone translate?

 

Greek letters

 

I thought you were talking about Zuckerberg......

 

It is Greek, but I can only see enough of the first mark to make out which letters they are.
What I see doesn't make sense to me, there are two deltas, Δ δ, which is Dd. At the end there is Hε, which is Èe (Eur Continental pronunciation).
Could you rub some flour into the second set of marks and post a picture?
What is it, btw?

 

This is a work by the Greek Sculptor Giannis Douatzis (Lamia 1912 - Athens 1990). Above his name there is written "replication is prohibited / law 2387".

 

Any Jewelry, the second δ is not a δ, but "ου", with the υ written above the ο.

 

I only found one other work by him. He is known because he was active in the communist resistance against German occupation during WWII.

Hi again, I have a follow up question for anyone who knows. I decided to purchase the items today, and I know they are only silver plated. My follow up question, is what do you call this item? My only guess is that it is used to hold mail/letters??
