    925......is the likely bet !
a 4 leaf clover would fit the center piece, but maybe it's just a pendant.

Looks like something from a bead shop class and depending on the country, the "silver" pendant would be illegally marked.

    Could you explain this please.
Why would it be illegally marked? Because there is no country stamp?

"In the USA, The National Gold and Silver Marketing Act does not require precious metals to be marked with quality. However, if a quality mark is used, the mark must be accompanied by a manufacturer's hallmark that is a registered trademark or the name of the manufacturer. If there is ever a question about the content of a piece of jewelry, the manufacturer can be traced using the hallmark stamped on the piece....US law requires a maker's mark in the form of a hallmark or registered trademark in addition to the quality mark if the goods are quality marked. The name of the artist or manufacturer may now be used for this."

Unless of course Holly meant something else...... or not !;)

In the USA if precious metal objects are marked for content... i.e. 925,14K etc. they must also be marked with a maker's mark or signature.

But the US doesn't mark 925. So it wasn't made here, a hallmark wouldn't apply.
If it was made in Mexico or elsewhere, it wouldn't necessarily have the country on it unless it was imported. Then it would be required to be marked, and maybe not even then, if it had paper labels/stickers.

If I'm not understanding this correctly, please correct me.

The US has been using 925 since the 90's in most cases. The designer I worked for started using 925 in the mid 90's, they were marked trademark, metal content, goldsmith's first initial, designer's signature and month and year the piece was made.

What is the point to remove the item shown from the original post while the thread is still shown as a brand new thread?
