Amazing Pick Up

Hi all- picked up this amazing piece today which I think comes from a high end dealer (per the sticker). Can anyone identify the signature on the bottom?

 

Why not contact him and ask him what it is, you have the inventory number too so should be a no brainer.

Yes I definitely will do that. The gallery is in London so was just seeing if it was easily recognizable to someone here! I think it’s a Chinese name/artist given that is what the gallery specializes in.

It looks to me like it says Chun Liao and there is someone with that name that makes some pieces that resemble yours.

Good policy, generally. However, in this case, I believe this person's style will go out of fashion in the not-too-distant future and may not be in vogue again for quite some time.
Therefore selling now, while it still has a reasonably high value would be what I would advise ..of course that is only my personal call on the thing as I don't really rate the work. A good score though!

if i saw this in the thrift store..., i'd pass it by thinking it was bust....

but that's just me...

Not every day a museum-quality work by a contemporary artist ends up in one's hands. I say -- hold and enjoy.
