help with age of wooden shelves

    hi all, picked up this today, was only cheap, but thinking it might be arts and craftsy

    looks like it will come apart, (pegs)cant think of a word that describes this function

    I'm not sure if that's called "knock down construction" or not. Seeing it's made from pine that may be a newer piece made to look old.

    Pegged tenons. Also think this a later piece than the arts and crafts period it emulates. There was a bit of a revival of this type of furniture in the 50s. Much of it was done in a more rustic form and in pine. This could date to then or be a later yet craft project.

    I remember these being sold as spice racks in the 1970s.
