Help .... Drop leaf table

    I think the bottom 3 patches are a repair made by the same person who created the fabric covering. I think when they were finished, the support gismo didn't slide cleanly through the fabric on the bottom, so the leather patches were installed to allow the metal to slide beneath it without ripping the fabric.

    Is one edge showing of the table top itself? With a white spot (drip of paint) on the wood?
