Recently, I picked up these Amos 'n Andy items at an estate sale. I'm not really sure what to call them; busts? portraits? plaques? Anyway, they're approximately 5" tall and are painted cast metal, with a wire prop on the back so that they can stand up. Now, I appreciate how controversial Amos 'n Andy is today but I'm a big fan of old time radio and, like it or loathe it, this show was an important part of early radio history. I believe these items are genuinely old but I've been unable to find other examples anywhere. What I'm wondering is, have any of the forum members seen these before, or do you know anything about them? Would anyone hazard a guess as to when they were made? I'm thinking about 1930, when their movie "Check and Double Check" was released as they look about the right age for this, but this is just a guess.

Any thoughts will be gratefully received...
