    Hi all....
I just bought this antique 800 silver thimble, I'm sure it's German made for the Italian export market.

Does anyone know what the stones are...Lapis maybe?
Also the mark on top? IMG_1294.jpg IMG_1300.jpg

I've already got a collection but just starting to get more of these with the gemstones and learning about them, others I've seen say Lapis or blue stones :)

Yes, I don't know what the blue stones are though and I only just identified the mark.
The other one has no makers mark.

I thought it was rubbish when I first bought the box it was in., it was black.
Then I cleaned it and although I couldn't make out the purity mark I had it tested for silver so I knew then it wasn't rubbish.
So then I was again trying to identify the stones.
It has no makers mark though like the other one.

Yes those type look similar, lots of different stones were used with slightly different settings depending on the maker...I'm just finding out about these now :)
