That was my thinking as well, Indian made for the Middle Eastern market.

That technique was also used in 18th century Europe, in some parts even into the 19th century. I like it, a simple solution that works.

It was one of those things in a whole dish of bits. I think I grabbed a handful from memory. I've worn it a fair bit, it sits nicely on my paw.

 

The colours are perfect too, they go well with any skin tone.
