Help with chest

    Hi, friend throwing this away and i couldn't let him do that:) Heres dilemma I would like to paint it etc...but was wondering if might be of some value prior to making it mine...lol. No markings, leather handles, small wheels on bottom and couple racks inside. Any help be appreciated.     Yeah, no true value as it sits..
    painting it might help as stated above..

    Id probably keep the wooden trimmings wood and put boiled linseed oil on them though ..
    but that's just my opinion
