I have about 3 questions about this wall sconce.
    -Where could it be from?
    -What age?
    - Is it a wall sconce for candles or was it electric? The hole does not really seem like a socket, just a regular hole IMG_5061.JPG IMG_5066.JPG IMG_5059.JPG IMG_5056.JPG IMG_5058.JPG that goes all the way through the neck and end of base.
    The shade is detachable.
It is 12'' inches long x 10.5''inches deep. Shade alone: 5.5'' inches long x 3.5''.
Many thanks in advance for your response.

I think it was electric and the socket and wiring have been removed. I had an old bronze lamp that someone had done that to at one time.

Thank you, I was not sure since the socket is not very wide but it was probably for small light bulbs.
