    It could be NA.
I found three people who signed HL, but all of them work in a different style.
That is a problem with NA maker's marks, there is no regulatory organisation, so anyone can sign any way they like.

    Thank you, Charlie! :)
I had seen that one, I guess I’ll not find out much more about HL, as sellers sometimes don’t always do extensive research.

More sellers should join this Forum. :D

I’ve joined a NA jewelry Forum. I’ll embarrass myself and ask there. But if anyone would like me to ask about anything, I would post for them. So, not a total loss.

I would be interested to hear what they have to say, too.
The one Charlie found looks like the same hand as yours....but to my eye it's even less Navajo than yours !

I will post the responses, still going through authentication process.

I’m not doubting your hunch of it not being authentic, maybe they will be familiar with the imposters, too. :D

Ok...just to be fair, you don't see plain silver cuffs often...but indeed they do exist.

Indeed they do! The earlier Navajo cuffs were nearly all plain, and many show influence from Woodland and Plains silver cuffs.
Really love the second last one.:)

I happen to have the exact cuff as you with the same signature. It's exactly like yours. I found it in some jewelry after my mother passed. Am wondering if it's authentic also.

    Welcome to the Forum, Shanabane!

I also posted this on a Native American jewelry forum. They seemed dubious, as Helen Long was known for making Kachinas.

I still have it. I am not someone who sells, but if I were, I would not attribute it to her.

If you find out anything more, it would be great if you could let me know. :)
