French Faience Mark

    That is the interlinked FC of the Charles Fourmaintraux-Houzel, with the painter's number and the model number. This mark was used from about 1905 to 1930.

    Thanks so much! I thought Fourmaintraux maybe, but I couldn't find it on Google. I shall let the enquirer know. :)

    Thinking about it, I think I spelled Fourmaintraux incorrectly... :facepalm:

    I am now the new owner of this toby! I just purchased it as part of a collection. I'm glad I found this. I have this toby in hand and recognize the exact mark and the exact coloring on the bottom of this toby. Now I know more about the maker and its age!
