Unknown Fischer Scientific Co. piece

    Because I don’t know what this is, I put it in the general discussion forum. I hope that this is ok.

    Does anybody know what to call this? You can’t see it in the picture, but there is a sieve in the funnel.

    I’ve tried spending about thirty minutes on google, to no avail.

    I would be interested in seeing more views... what happens at bottom...what ever goes in the top where is it collected at bottom?...

    Here’s working ones. Idk why that one is rectangular. I guess Komokwa is right again!

    I don’t see where this would be used as a business card holder. It appears that powder was loaded in the funnel, went down the staggered chute and the collected at the bottom. Like I said before, there was a small glass bowl that went with this that broke, therefore it’s not pictured.

    Maybe something to do with medicine? I know they used to mix the medicines by hand back in the day.

    I have no clue what to call this. I can’t even find a picture of it elsewhere. Any thoughts?
