Native American item

    It is pretty interesting looking. The beautiful face and that lion head bottom right, plus some of the features. Is the metal material copper? I think people will need to see additional clear photos if possible, close ups of the metal work and maybe a photo of the back. It may well be folk art, I think it is a really nice piece.

    I think tourist item.....oh...and the safety pin headdress....TACKY.....but at least mine still has it's feathers....:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

    Hard to see from the photo, but looks like someone just rested the necklace on there. Dimensions would be helpful. Comparing to the hat it looks like it might be 3ft tall or so?

    Not folk art. Probably more a craft item but may have been manufactured for sale as well. What is the white porcelain thing on top? Part of it?

    BTW, this would not be considered a NA item. It may depict a NA but was not made or used by them.

    Thank you all for your response. Its not metal but plaster plaste. Measurements 26 x 40. Weight 30 to 35 lbs

    I think that is a good suggestion.

    Additional photos were helpful. And learning that the material is plaster, that means the face and the lion was some kind of mold most likely, and probably this does not date to as old as 1915.

    The lions head is a place for a candle and the shelf to the left of the lion look like they mite have put a Urn?

  15. 200? id take 100 or probably even 50 for that. Depending what I paid. I wouldnt pay more then 20 for that cuz im a cheap bastard but Id try to flip it for a 100.
