Hi was wondering if anyone could tell me when this was made. It is made by Godin is cast iron and enamel made with 3 legs. I am not sure if the scoop is original or not. I found one close to mine on ebay. Any help is appreciated thanks so much

Look's like the leg was lost a LOOONG time ago and the wound has "grown in" over the years.

    Of course...that's impossible.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I was not aware that coal scuttles looking like this were ever made (with that finish and flowers). Interesting!

There is 2 legs on edge on one end and one in middle on the other. Both ends open up. I found a stove same flowers and enamel on a blog. The lady was thrilled she found it she said it was a rare find I asked what year she thought the stove was to get an idea what year my scuttle was but I got no reply :(

There is one listed on ebay for 349.99 same style
    Very unusual Antique Godin

    I think this enamel dates to 1890s - 1910
I have no idea what nationality Godin is, but the French liked enamel ware and did a lot with florals.
