Hen on nest, antique Staffordshire or a more modern copy?

I bought this at the local rummage/jumble sale. It’s 8 ins high, 9ins long, 6 ins wide, initially I thought old, hand painted when I picked it up. No makers marks. The base has the crossed 7s and then the inner printed numbers threw me also it’s very clean though there’s a few glaze cracks. Is it a copy of an antique? I’m only seeing really old ones online. Worth the £1 spent though I hope. Thanks for any info.

There seem to be some like it being sold as Schramberg. Here is one with a Schramberg mark and 4774 on the base but with a different colored hen. There are some with the coloring like yours but I didn't look too far so don't know about the marks on those.

That's 1970-something, I think. It's not an antique, but there's a market. People like chickens. I'd put chocolate eggs in there and sit it out for Easter... provided I trusted the family not to eat all the eggs before April 1. (or trusted myself for that matter)
