Featured Finally found a use for my "October" gravy boat!

Funny picture of the day. I finally found a way to use my Franciscan "October" gravy boat year 'round -

Oh heck no, unless my ducks got hidden nests somewhere and BOOM, ducklings in the springtime!

 

when ya just need sumpthin to gnaw on......

 

I'm afraid that Slim Jims are not "my thing", even tho I know many folks love them.

When we first moved to NH, the small local "convenience store" was apparently having some sort of promotion. I just didn't know it at the time...

Buy a newspaper? The clerk would ask, "Do you want a Slim Jim with that?"

Buy a gallon of milk? "Do you want a Slim Jim with that?"

A dozen eggs? A local map? It was always the same: "Do you want a Slim Jim with that?"

I actually thought it was a New Hampshire thing!

 

& now it's ...' air miles '............

 

Oh sure, enjoy your slim jims you fancy people with your own teeth!

I'm down quite a few - I learned how to pull them myself - LOL!! Saved me alot of money!! I pretty got chewing on the right side only!

 

Hmm. I'm from NH, but live in MA. At Christmas, I have to put Slim Jims in the stockings for hubby, son and grandson. It's a tradition. Don, my husband hasn't had his own teeth since his got knocked out by a flying folding chair at a basketball game brawl when he was in college in 1966!

 

Oh, how I wish I had a story like that! At least he got it all done at once. Mine was a 20-30 year process. I put more than one dentist's kid through college.
