Me again! Confused~one dime cifflinks but are bronze

I don't have much clue about English money,never mind American,
so imagine my confusion right now.

I was just about to list these but had a look and dimes are usually silver in colour and 1965 dimes have a different picture to these.
Are they not real dimes? What key words can I use?

Do any other people here remember the old "counting" rhyme

"One penny, two pennies, three pennies, four,
five pennies, six pennies, seven pennies more." ???

 

How could you know? I can’t understand metrics for the life of me.! (And it’s used here quite often)

I can't count, can't do things in order...

I have dyspraxia and it doesn't usually make much difference but sometimes it makes things a little more interesting. Lol. I am laughing at myself though because...well, good god that was silly of me ! x x

We've been together 19 years and to be honest,sometimes feels like MORE :O:O :O but I do feel blessed

 

It's great to have the ability to laugh at one's self when needed!!!!! And we all need to on occasion!!!!

I remember that one too.

I think the "one penny, two pennies" was the rhyme Daddy "made up" when he was handing my sister and me our weekly "allowance(s)." Way back then (and I do mean "way back then") my little sister and I each got 10 cents a week to spend however we wanted. I usually spent at least half of my pennies on "BB Bats" (they were a penny each back then, if I remember correctly).

 

Were those the little half round colored candies stuck to sheets (like calculator paper) of paper????????

 

B.B. bats are rectangle Carmel lollipops. I think the one you mean were calls Dots. All delicious!

 

Oh I was thinking of ammo for a cap pistol.
We used to wrap them in wax paper with a BB - cracker bombs.
