1944/1945 SAILOR'S PHOTO ALBUM - REAL PHOTO OF GERMANY SIGNING SURRENDER TERMS?

    Does it make sense to anyone else that the Germans were seated/standing on one side of the table/room and representatives of the Allies were seated/standing across from them and that someone from each side was tasked with signing the documents - thus the different angles of the photos and 2 different people signing?

    That is the reason I asked for a better detail.
    Until every one (or most!) is identified on that picture this picture can be anything.

    My father, Sterling Hayden was in and around these events - A Marine attached to the OSS. At the time of surrender was working in psychological warfare, finding German military resisters and convincing them they best surrender.
