1944/1945 SAILOR'S PHOTO ALBUM - REAL PHOTO OF GERMANY SIGNING SURRENDER TERMS?

I found this old photo album in a abandon house a friend bought to flip - he lets me go through & make a pile of what I want & then we agree on a price. I picked this because inside 1st page was a group photo of owner's graduating class of yeomen - with every name written on the back!
The other photos also have short notes describing what the photo is.
4-5 pages in I found this photo of who I first thought was Hitler standing over his inner circle going over plans until I read the back & it said it was Germany signing surrender terms in France and dated 8 May 1945! But when I showed my dad he told me it couldn't be Hitler because he committed suicide a few days earlier.
    So...
Who is the German officer that looks like a thin Hitler?
Is this the signing of the German surrender?
And most importantly - Is It Real?! I've looked online at 'Germany's surrender' but didnt see this (unless I just didn't recognize it in my excitement). A friend of my dad who was with him when I showed him this said it looked real to him & that there had to be a bunch of people photographing & documenting the event and maybe a photo did get out?
I would greatly appreciate any help with this.
    Thank you!
PS - I am showing the admiral in 1st photos so you can see how he documented all his photos - throughout the album!

The "thin Hitler" appears to be wearing the uniform of a British officer.

Apparently there were two surrender ceremonies one on 0230 hours on 7 May 1945 in Reims, France and one on May 8th at Karlshorst, just outside of Berlin. Ivan Susloparov, the Russian in the center of your photo, attended both.

The pictures were put in that album after the War, but the snapshots look legit.

BTW - the guy in the middle of that Karlshorst photo Davey just posted looks like a real prize. I can't print prize what.

He looks like his ...sphincter... is squeezed so tight from anger at no longer being the boss bully! The hell they put people through (who they didn't kill) - payback is a bitch!

The guy on the far left spent the day before eating hot sauce with beans and broccoli. Hence the upset stomach look and the side glance and nose in the air on the other two.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

One thing that seems different about the photo in the album is that it was taken close up against a white wall, unlike every other photo showing the two signings. And so far the guy who resembles Hitler is not in any other official photo of the event. Can anybody else in that photo be matched up with anybody who was known to be at either of the signings?

Another thing that is odd relates to the British uniform on the guy who looks like a thin Hitler. Would any British officer have wanted to resemble Hitler in real life?

That is one of the reasons I asked for a closer view.
The guy sitting down is a British general, behind him stands a American, a Russian and again what seems to be a American naval officer...
The guy standing in front is British as well, but that was all ready stated.

I think I am able to confirm the US naval uniform and it appears to be a rear admiral.

It wasn't uncommon for British officers to wear moustaches in World War II. Here's an example. Doubt his intention was to "resemble" Hitler. Anything but, I'm sure.

Fair enough. I removed my final speculative comment.

I tried to blow up photo in link huntingtreasure gave but it wouldn't enlarge.
So is it a real photo of the signing of surrender terms to end WWII? If so is it valuable? (I found one of japan signing surrender terms for less than $20 if I remember correctly)
Could it be a unpublished photo? (the photographers must have snapped off a whole roll during the signing - maybe some were never picked?)
I appreciate all the help guys!

I would think the sailor cheesecake photographs would have more resale value (if your objective is to break up the album, which IMHO would be a shame.)

Like I said before, I can't see a German uniform on your picture, so who is surrendering to who? The Russian ??
