    Love Max Neiger!

What's "jumble"? Or did you just mean a jumble / pile of jewelry?

    A jumble sale - it's like a rummage sale.

WOOT! Anund, so that's where all the good stuff I never find in Spenders goes! I only get in there a few times a year, and each time wonder when I'm going to hit some of this good stuff everyone else seems to find. No wonder - you got it all.

I've met only three other regular pickers there and none of them look at any of this type of stuff, I really feel like I'm the only one there. I see lots of casual treasure hunters but they aren't there often enough to find it.

I don't live close enough to be there regularly. I am at the GoodWill in town several days a week, but never find tons. I only go because it's maybe two miles from the house and the only game in town.

Alva museum replicas maybe? I've also found Panamanian silver pieces that were sold as souvenirs. The ones I found were gold-plated and framed.

Today's hunting spot was a church fundraiser tag sale. It was half an hour away and pretty much a bust. A charity I help made out nicely, but Ebay didn't. On my way home I stopped in a jewelry/treasures/antique store and spent $4. Included in that were a sterling chain and bracelet and this little piece. It's gold-filled.

Thanks Komo, it tested at 14k, I have an old friend here that is very knowledgeable with pre-Columbian artifacts, I’ll have to show it to him.
And I’ll get better photos up in tomorrow’s daylight.

We had a local thrift shop that donated the proceeds to a local charity. Somehow, that stopped, the store closed, and it seems two women opened it as a for-profit business for themselves. I stopped in Thursday and it seems the one woman is buying jewelry off of people and reselling it. A woman and he husband came in and looked at a 14k floral cameo brooch/pendant combo. It was $50, but since he was a vet, they would let him have it for $40. The people weren't very nice.... the guy made a comment about they should just set a match to the store, everything is useless. But they came back in and bought it. I don't know why people have to be so mean.

I will post a picture of what I bought hopefully soon.
