Introduction and Art ID Question

Hi everyone. My name is Lorena. I love antiques; however, I haven't had the time to learn about them before. This looks like a great place to learn.

I came across your website when I was trying to find some information on a picture I inherited from my mother. It is a print by L. Young. It is signed on the back and says 443/500. It is my understanding that means only 500 prints were made. Can anyone tell me information about the artist or this picture?

Thank you Debora. I saw that post; however, I'm looking for information on the artist or this picture specifically.

 

It's difficult to see the signature on the previously discussed picture, but what I can see does not look quite the same as the signature on yours, Lorena. We need to find other examples.

I'm excited! I found the Certificate of Authenticity for the painting. The artist is Linda Young. She wrote a note about the pictures meaning. Attached if you are interested.
