Featured Singer 128 V.S. Domestic Sewing Machine (1936)

I have a bunch of those screwdrivers. Tell me the length and I'll look at mine.

 

The large, hooped screwdriver is 4-11/16th inches long. The Holepuncher is just over 3in. long. The other screwdriver is somewhere in between there. It looks like the holepuncher, but it has a flat head, obviously.

 

I can't look tonight because the attic is dark and forbidding, but that's where all the 'stuff' is that I don't use all the time.

 

It was a dark & stormy night..................when Bev decided to tip toe up the stairs to the attic....CRASH !!!!! BANG !!!!!

Better not. Those old Singers weigh a ton. Wouldn't want one falling on your foot.

 

You may laugh. The house was built in 1870. After we'd been here four years, we uncovered a Victorian horsehair sofa that hubby's mother didn't recall. There are generations of his family stuff up there plus what we added. It runs the length of the house and could be a full third floor with cathedral ceilings.

 

How wonderful to live in a house built in 1870, plus an attic filled with treasures.

 

Bev, stop!! You'll make us all jealous!!
