    I keep searching but no match found yet. Could it be French or other European but not Asian?

    Thanks for the link. So, Shotai-Shippo is basically Plique-A-Jour.
    It’s just the shape of mine vase that is not very traditional Japanese. And usually there are metal rings on the bottoms.

    It gives me an Art Nouveau vibe but could be wrong.
    Andre Fernand Thesmar did some pieces in similar style. He exhibited his works at the Paris Exposition and the Japanese Cloisonné artists copied his style in some of their works.

    I believe plique a jour is enamel work that isn't on a backing so that light shines through.

    They use copper backing and then dissolve it in acid.
