I have this Canton Enamel plate and I think it has some age, but how old is it?
    Thank you all in advance,

Looks 18th C. to me, but could be a bit later (19th).

    Very nice piece, congrats!

Would this have been made for foreign export or domestic use?

The Canton System in China lasted from the mid-1700s until about 1842, I think. I dunno if that helps at all.

Thank you both! I think Canton enamels were made mostly for export, but the production continues up into the 20th century. However I had also the impression that this is an early one!

Lovely! But I know nothing about the age of these things. This does look particularly good to me, though.
