    hello,
I am hoping to get some assistance identifying, dating and valuing my egg and spoon set that was given to me by my (ex) great grandfather in law.
Its a beautiful set that now belongs to my young dayghter and she wants to know about it.
Thankyou for any help you might be able to offer.
The spoons are all that have makings, they have two star of davids an ep stamp and NS stamp. Untitled2.png

Well, it is not Sterling silver.
Maybe someone will be along to identify the maker.

Maker probably English because of the use of EP NS, but I have not found a source identifying a specific maker.

There were so many companies engaged in electroplating in the heyday of it's early use as a cheap alternative to the "look" of solid silver items, that many were short-lived and/or undocumented. There is also no official registration of silver plate marks in the UK which gives us little to go on outside of period advertising and company records. I checked the best source I am aware of and even scanned the multitude of "unknown maker marks" it has online and saw nothing that matched the marks on your items. I wish I could have found something for your daughter.
