Well this was my find today at a local thrift store. I apologize if you can't make out small, script writing along top edge of etching(?)/art - it's hard for me to read! What I can see says 'Copyright by Arthur Tooth & Sons 1917, - and then there are addresses to offices? in London, Paris & New York, & then - Printed In Paris
There is what looks like a pencil signed signature on the bottom.
Can anyone tell me who the artist is (It looks like Carmila something to me; could this be by a woman?)? Is it pencil signed? And what is the name of the piece (It looks like a church? to me)
Thank you for any info - I wasn't too sure about buying it at $39.95 but it was Monday & there was almost nothing else interesting there today... so I gambled.

Could it be Booth not Tooth?

No it looks like Msr Arthur Tooth & Sons and 1st one is on Bond St.
If you google Arthur Tooth & Sons there is a printer by that name.
I will try to get a clear photo of it, but my camera is acting old! (I just bought a new camera on eBay & am waiting for it)

Is there another example of this by Camille Fonce printed by Arthur Booth & Sons?

Apologies for posting mis-information from the internet. There is a Tooth family.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Although his signature appears to have "Camile" with one "l" as the first name, many sites, including many museums, spell his first name as "Camille." Maybe it doesn't matter, since online search engines will often find more than one option.

I did a bit of looking, too, and didn't find any other copies of this.
