General George McClellan 1st edition

    Hello all! I’m very happy with this find today (paid $20). First edition leather bound McClellans Story (1887).

    one question I have... the signature under the picture I posted... is it real? I know they did this in old books but this seems to be indented if you run your nail across it. Other first editions I see online appear to have it in their photo as well.

    Might be. This seller doesn't mention a facsimile signature.
