Hi, does anyone know anything about this type of lamp? It looks like wicker, but is made from strips of metal... hence wire wicker. I think it's mission / craftsman style. I can't find anything else like it and I'm wondering what it might be worth? PicsArt_1419732246774.jpg

This is a new one for me as well and I am also not finding comparables. I do think it to be early to mid 20th century. As for value, it would be hard to gauge. I would think that somewhere in the ballpark of the traditional period wicker lamps with someone paying a slight premium for the novelty of the construction. I could also see it not appealing to some buyers. If they want a wicker lamp, they want a wicker lamp.

Thanks verybrad! Can you point me toward some examples of comparable traditional period wicker lamps?

    That's pretty darn cool.
    I've never seen one either.
    What kind of metal?

I'll have to look closer at it... Honestly I never thought about that before LOL! It just fit with the decor at the time, but not really anymore. :)
