950 Bracelet Necklace Maybe Filigree?

Hi All,
Trying to figure out what this type of work is called - maybe filigree? Both clasps are marked 950. To me they look like tiny scrub brushes
any information appreciated

Looks more like a loosely woven chain strung together.

 

I've never seen similar, they are unusual.

Nice you've got 950 on the clasps. Almost wonder if they are some kind of artisan made pieces where they used a higher level of silver for the chains?

Looks like some people can crochet the silver wire, areas of yours does look like chain though.

I saw a knitted chicken made from copper wire in an exhibition a couple of years ago, it was really good. I’ve collected up a bunch of household appliance wire to strip and have a go myself one day....

 

A lot of household wire is made of thin strands twisted together. It might be suitable and might not. Old school telephone wire has been used by crafters for as long as there has been telephone wire.
