I have a small bronze bust of George Washington. Measures 3 1/2" tall and is 1 5/8" wide, so I would assume it was meant to be a paperweight. No marks of any knid that I can find.

I found a 6" one listed for $50. claiming it was a 1930s souvenir of Mt Vernon.
    True or not?

Washington became the first president in 1789 - 100 years would be 1889. So possibly a centennial commemoration? Souvenir from Washington DC.
Washington has always been a popular figure could be any reason.

The fact that it is bronze rather than bronzed pot metal would bring the value up. I would think that the age would be late 1800s - to early 1900s.

    These are only my thoughts.
