Antique sterling silver cream jug.

    Hello to everyone.I did buy st.silver cream jug.Looks cool to me Hallmarked underneath for London 1747year,I can see letter''m'',half lion,Leopard's head, maker's mark ''DM''or ''PM''.I'm not sure about maker's mark.Can you help me?I appreciate your opinion.Thahk you.     I think it's been clobbered. Would have been plain originally.

    You need to get some of that tarnish off, or it will damage the piece.
