Place across from us in the industrial park throws out scratched and dented furniture nearly every day. I help myself when they have something I think I can use. Some pix of discards there today. Good quality stuff, mostly. Took more pix but they’re too large? 372E6372-8219-457A-81CA-6DFAB52FA9FD.jpeg 752F9238-3DD2-45E7-A15B-BB40CD360793.jpeg 639D26CB-B68E-4521-9201-780D7157997C.jpeg

Are you going to use this stuff in the warehouse or at home?

That table leaf would make a fantastic top for that chrome frame !

I only took the black metal coffee table and gold metal stand thing. Both going to biz to be used sooner or later. Or just hoarded! Most of the dining table sections are great wood-oak, mahogany, etc and was slightly tempted to hoard some, but gotta stop somewhere! Anybody near DC, show up at my biz and I’ll take you to the furniture parts goldmine.

Given what they charge retail, I'd hoard those pieces too. Some of their wood tables sell as high as five grand.

I'd have grabbed those metal parts in a heartbeat. Table leaves are hard to use unless solid wood. Only one of those looks like it could be.

10 table leaves looked good so I got ‘em this AM. We seem to always have table-like things that need some kinda top and best we’re able to do is plywood, almost always salvaged from crates we get stuff in. Ms Spring came by and made me toss a couple back, that had veneered surfaces, but I mean, 7/8” solid hardwood and 1/8” veneer on top doesn’t bother me, but much easier to comply sheepishly than try and convince her. Photo to come, is crawling thru space after being shrunk.

If someone's offering free wood, and nice instead of plywood, why not? If all else fails, you can always cut them up into other stuff.
