Hello Debora, it is a present from my aunt, but she is dead so I dont know nothig about it. I am sending a back.

 

How kind of her. It appears to be a Victorian era copy of a Renaissance painting in an ebonized frame. I suggest you do a Google Image search to see if there is an original.

Oh, wait. At first glance, I thought it was the portrait of a Renaissance youth. But now, after taking closer look at the hair style, I think it's a portrait contemporary with the frame.

But it is very old picture, because my aunt gave me a present when I was little, she bought it long time ago.

 

"Contemporary with the frame" means the painting and the frame are from the same period, not that either is new. And there... You do have information about the painting. You've had it since you were little and your aunt bought it a long time ago. When would you estimate that was? And do you know or can you guess where?

It wa bought about 1960-70, but I dont know anything more, because we found after her death.

 

There may be a signature under the frame. If you feel you can open/close without doing damage, you may want to take a look.
