info on this octagonal barometer?

    Found some similar ones online but this one is odd in that the "wood" is actually all metal. No brand or mark on it. It's about a foot or so in diameter. Just trying to get a sense of its value. Thanks!!!

    Apologies - just realized I posted the photos upside-down. I also see a tiny mark hadn't noticed before - WEST WOOD MADE IN GERMANY

    Ihow about the "W" at the Bottom? I can read "West" something
