I acquired a box of tribal masks from an estate. I assumed most are for the tourist trade (some were marked Ghana or Indonesia) but here are two I pulled out as they seemed more intricate/unusual. Looks like they have animal hide, reptile skin, etc.

Appreciate any info on where they're from, age, value. Thanks!

Neither are anything of great value.
The rounder one is an African Dan mask STYLE but not carved the right way.....so I'd say both are low level tourist masks.
Indonesia & Ghana still sound about right for these also.

Thanks. The other masks I priced in my B&M shop at $35. and they've been moving quickly. These, however, seemed more unusual, and the animal details (horns, skin) interesting. They're also quite large. What would you suggest as a pricing range for them?

I can't see the others ....but if you think these are twice as good as those are....double the price !

If the others are moving fast ....they may be somewhat under priced.....or heaven forbid.....of higher quality 1

They were pretty nice - inlaid mother of pearl, etc. Here are some of them - we might still have a few left. Did we mess up at $35.? We can still raise the prices of the ones left.

Great, thanks. So you think I can get away with $70. on the two remaining ones? Is that high?

maybe the one with the horns.......but you know your market better than me....and the fast nickel....is better than the slow dime !

The one with the horns is pretty amazing. Maybe I'll do 35. on the other one, and 75. on the horned guy. But in general, I did OK at 35.? Didn't give away any treasures?

Btw, I have another thing I'll post separately. Serious tribal art, a carved bladder (!).

On your first photos, the mask on the left, with the horns and strange orange hair, is Mexican. The "beard" is armadillo hide.

In the second group of photos, the top row, far right mask is in the style of the iconic masks from the Mortlock Islands in Micronesia. Whether it was actually carved there, I can't tell. But it isn't anything like any traditional African masks.

These usually are made and displayed as a male and female pair.

Right. Ghana and Ivory Coast, respectively. The one from Ghana is a relatively recent concept, made for the tourist trade. The one from the Ivory Coast is actually based on a traditional Senufo mask form. Also made as a souvenir item, but at least a little more "traditional" than some of the other African masks.

The Mexican, Mortlock, and Senufo masks might bring a little more money, since they are based on real masks, even though they all are of decorative value only. I'd say all would usually be in the under $50 range.

The one that I posted the same photo twice of, dark polished wood with small triangular MOP inlays, where is that one from? Did I undersell them at $35.? I thought they were beautiful- I had three altogether. Just curious...

Hard to tell where the dark polished wood with MOP inlay mask came from. Very likely, Indonesia. It is a strange combination of a vaguely "African" style form with a Solomon Islands type of decorative MOP inlay. Strictly a decorative tourist piece. Similar ones are selling on eBay for under $15, described simply as "African."
