Chinese/ oriental tea set and vases?

    Hi everyone. I wonder if someone could help with identification and maybe estimated value of the tea set and vases? They are among many other things that belong to my family and are now passed down to me as inheritance. Thanks in advance and happy new year![​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG][​IMG]

    I can't tell, is that silver on the top of the teapot? Not that I know anything but just curious.

    The tea items are marked satsuma if they all have the same mark as is shown in last picture of Post #2. The only problem is that the picture is upside down. The circle with cross inside should be at the top of the mark not the bottom.

    If you search Japanese Satsuma Moriage vases and then Japanese Satsuma Moriage Tea Service you should find very similar examples to yours. If you look on eBay sold items you will get an idea of the current going price. Make sure you check "sold" as the sellers of some unsold pieces are asking unrealistic prices.
