These electrified versions were popular in the 1960s, and that is the time frame of manufacture of your lamp.

MC Co. is the lamp company, and GIM (GIM Metal Products, Inc.) made metal lamp parts.

Not really a value guy, but I saw someone tried selling the exact lamp on eBay in 2019 at a starting bid of $12 USD, and it went unsold.

When you look at yours, notice how the metal of the base does not match the bright brass of the other pieces. That bright brass is a dead give away that it is a newer object. They did use brass in older pieces, but the new stuff is often thinner.

Electrified Hurricane lamps aren't my knowledge either. I'm an oil lamp guy. I do agree with Sabre123 that it is probably from the 1960's and $15 to $20 would be an optimistic value.

Hi! Thank you. That helped. Love just knowing it’s from the 60’s.

Did not even notice that. I guess I didn’t pay too much attention to it but now that you point it out it’s obvious. Thanks for your input

thanks! Yes I grew up with oil lamps and this is my first electric hurricane lamp which I must say is a subject I’m not entirely educated on. Thanks for answering
