Does anyone know anything about this? Wave etching continues around plus etched clouds. A few chips and has very old look. Porcelain looks stained brownish inside. Marked "Made in Japan" on bottom in same blue. I can't downsize photos enough to add anymore but hoping for some direction. I haven't found anything like it on the internet. Thanks. 20210101_002805.jpg

I did it. I resized my photos and uploaded them. Hopefully I can do it again. Now there are photos of every side of teapot. Please, can anyone tell me anything about this

How big is it? Is it miniature?

Actually, it is exactly 3 inches tall, and the diameter of the blue rim on top is also exactly 3 inches

I think this teapot is quite old and the link/website does not know the history and worth, the artist, etc. Hoping for more info if anyone can date it? Also, is it possible to follow people?

It’s an off hour for many Forum Members. This is an International site, so sometimes in takes a while for everyone to look at things. Maybe you’ll get more insight. :)

You click the person’s profile. In blue, it should say “follow”, click that.

I can only add that you’ve asked about the artist. You won’t find a specific person to attribute. Even though some pieces may say “handpainted”, they can still be mass produced.

Apparently, it's not even worth $12.50 since no one has purchased the one on Bonanza. And yours is chipped, cracked, and stained. I've collected (mostly English) tea pots for over 25 years and, though I can offer no other info on yours, I'm afraid it never would have made it into my shopping basket, even from the 99 cent table. Sorry, JMHO. :shy:

I could be wrong but I think after the 1920s, before that it would have said Nippon instead of Made in Japan.
