Went to an antique mall I haven't been to before today. Always nice to see some fresh inventory but not a lot of quality antiques or vintage in this one. Did get a Roseville Foxglove vase I liked, made an offer and they accepted. Friendly workers who called the vendor on my behalf. Overall business didn't appear to be booming which is unfortunate on a Saturday which should be their busy day. The thrift stores down the road were packed with way too many people considering the pandemic, I guess the vultures have to scavenge -- lots of people buying up overpriced junk from what I could see -- I don't get it.

Had to pay up for this Coca Cola bottle carrier, definitely not a "bargain" but I thought the condition was really great and love the logo with the outstretched wings.

No great bargains. Bought for myself. The two larger (6") are by Carl Thieme. The smaller (4") is KPM.

The KPM is "March" from a series of the months. The face is a dead ringer for a nephew 20 years ago.

Not my thing per se, but the little guy is cute. I've bought things for the same reason; the piece or image was dead on for someone I knew.

Bought myself a present, not a screaming deal but certainly reasonable for a keeper :)

The tray says Mann 1980 on the back, so it's vintage instead of antique. Looks like a nice place to park sunglasses. I think the little ceramic couple are Norwegian.

I think the red glass bowl is farther north. Scandinavian.

Thats why I park most of my "treasures" on the finds board ,I realize most are more vintage than antique but I still like sharing them. :)

Really ? I was thinking Whitefriars but you know better than me ! People are all over the map with what they are calling glass with that bubble base.

<rolls eyes> Yeah, that happens! Absolutely not Whitefriars, they never did that shape, the colour is all wrong as is the cased effect and that bubble pattern. The shape is very similar to some Flygsfors, but they didn't do the bubble thing. I'm trying to recall who did. (Magnor? )
