help with stone from silver ring

    can anybody tell what this stone is in this silver ring (marked 925)

    feels and looks like turquoise, but pinkish, not heavy cold stone

    not that pretty to be honest, reminds me of flesh

    but interested to know what it is

    I think it might be Russian Dendritic Agate but I will wait for more knowledgeable members to see if I guessed correctly

    It's not a Dendritic Agate ,looks more like a random river tumbled jasper of some type.

    Agree with Holly, jasper.
    Dendritic stones have tree-like (or fern like) structures in them.

    I can see why quincy said dendrite.

    I was thinking dinosaur bone; it's often pinkish like that. If it's not cold, I'd plump for some sort of coral.

    Rhyolite or jasper I'm leaning towards jasper but with out in hand and under a loop I can't be 100% sure.
