Military or Book related?

    1.5 inches long found on a WW1 trophy belt alongside other captured badges. Seems to be more of a
    ribbon clamp or maybe ceremonial sash decoration. Eros and a couple of harpy like sphinxes? Any idea what it is or where it originated?

    It does not look anything military to me.
    I assume a WWI trophy belt is not official, I`ve never heard of one those and I`ve collected military medals and badges for years.

    No, certainly not military. Maybe this should be moved to the jewellery forum.
    Could you post pictures with more detail please? These are very blurry. I can discern Eros, but no harpy like sphinxes. Dragons maybe, but I would have to see better pictures. Is it gold?
