Well, I have been buying up thrift store jewelry boxes to fix up and resell but the little knobs and pulls on them are usually broken or unsightly. So anything small enough for a jewelry box door or drawer. No certain look to them as all the boxes will be different. Thanks for asking! ❤️

 

@Tressie -- You've probably already thought about it but how about using beads? All sorts to choose from, an easily obtainable, inexpensive, and abundant source, especially if you browse thrift stores/antiques malls etc. Think about all the faceted glass and rhinestone encrusted examples...Most anyone who sells vintage jewelry has a stash of broken bead necklaces, so ask and you may receive.
Another thought is old thread spools (there are some small ones which would be perfect) and even stacked buttons.

 

I have definitely thought about using other items such as beads but the problem with that is that they do not go all the way through the wood, I would just have to glue them on. I wouldn’t want one to pop off

 

Could you not use small screws? I was thinking of those jewelry boxes of the 50s-60s, many have little screws or bolts with nuts on the back side holding them firm - but if your boxes are wood I don't see why you couldn't just thread a screw through the hole of the bead & attach to box....then you could glue a flat back rhinestone over the screw head to finish (phillips head screws are best, since the head is flat & would fit flush with the right size bead).

Also thinking of those little metal feet with screw ends used on a lot of old boxes.
