OMG Greg .. that is sooo funny, I'm not alone then LOL. I'm still giggling over SBSVC'S BIKINI TOP .. sailing around the lake with ones hand firmly gripped onto the ski line and your top flies off .. you can't do a thing .. Hahaha .. Joy.

Joy - sounds like you had some nice friends, if one of the guys brought you a towel.

Yes, it was kind of him .. but I was in such a state that I would have sat there in the wet sand distraught until the tide came in and washed me out to sea .. I was huddled there knees up to my chin with arms wrapped around my knees, I was trying my best to hide what I could .. even though my backside was displayed to all I was gonna hide the front bits. And all-fakes, It's good to laugh .. I'm okay with it, it was so long ago, over 50yrs. :) ... Joy.

The boys certainly "found" that swimsuit interesting! And that millipede found Greg fascinating. I can't top those and frankly never want to try. ;-)

I was at my neurologist's office introducing myself to the new "guy" today, actually an APRN (insurance thing, the old guy is no loss and moving to New Jersey anyway). On the way back, I decided to go into the charity thrift belonging to the hospital, and found a smoky quartz ring for three bucks. I'll have to get a photo in daylight; the only mark is Silver, so it's probably older Chinese. Right down the street is an antique store that's now mostly furniture and rugs. Up front is a smalls case and there's some random jewelry in the back. I found two in the back and then came up front. $26.50 later tax included....

    1. medal from the Franco-Prussian war, 2. Silver-colored and untested Victorian style pin, 3. probable chrysoprase and gold clip earrings (someone had them modified and removed the markings, but they act like 14k) and a hallmarked 18k Italian bow pin. I waited to get to the car before I started giggling.
