Fischel chair

I have acquired serveral bentwood chairs made by Fischel, they are like captain chairs anymore information would be greatly appreciated cheers

 

We've had some discussion on this topic before, just to get you started until someone knowledgeable comes along.

 

Would call this a café chair. Made for a lot of years so could be as early as late 19th century but made well in to the 30s with a seat like this. Not sure about the dates for Fischel so that would be your parameters and a look at the label might help pin it down. Made on in to the present day with other seats by many companies.

 

I have four of these Fischel chairs and am a complete novice as to how and where to sell these so that someone who could love them could buy them. Any help, advice or knowledge as to the history of them would be greatly appreciated

the one by Cassy is often used as office chair. stepdad from Vienna had the same form but from another maker.
