I think this an antique robe, feels like silk and the label name I could only find dates before 1928. I have never seen a robe like this with this type of belt.
I wonder if it was made for someone famous or royalty.

Any ideas on the maker exactly and who might it have been made for or worn by ?

    Thank You

    Just a men's bathrobe. Here's a September 27, 1920 W.A. Huff Co. ad featuring something similar.

Even though Huff calls it a bath robe, you would hardly want to put it on while still damp from the bath, so I would call it a man's dressing gown. Quite a nice one too. Could well be silk satin.

Men's silk dressing gowns weren't reserved for royalty. My grandfather (from the non-royal side) wore one quite similar to this one, different colours, also with braided tassels. My father had a Chinese silk one, with Shou symbols and dragons.

Yeah, I wouldn't put it on after a shower either, I put my 100% thick cotton one on.

Oh my goodness, shades of Hugh Hefner's "favorite" attire at the Playboy Mansion (apparently even when "guests" were in attendance).
