Need help identifying this Saint, wouldn't know where to start. Interesting in that it has a piece of cloth in it. The medallion or whatever it is is very well made and I think it is silver but it isn't marked. Measures 5/8W x 7/8"H. st1.jpg st2.jpg st3.jpg

Certainly a very good match. The snippet of cloth is presumably a relic of the saint.

Wow, that was pretty quick, thank you. Yes, they do look like exactly alike, so much so that I say it is him. Now, I guess I'll put it on a chain, hopefully my luck will change, can't get any worse, again, thank you.

Mario, I don't mean to be irreverent, but I hope the “luck” of which you speak is spiritual, rather than financial.

Here's what Pope Paul VI said at the 1965 beatification of Saint Sharbel:

...may he make us understand, in a world largely fascinated by wealth and comfort, the paramount value of poverty, penance and asceticism, to liberate the soul in its ascent to God.
