    Hello all.
I have purchased a small pair of pearl earrings today at a antique fair. They have a name Triunfo on them. They look gold but I can’t see any hallmarks. They are very sweet and are pierced ears. Does anyone know anything or heard of the name at all. I have done a bit of research but haven’t had any luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    They are little cuties.
I don't know the brand but triunfo is triumph in both Spanish and Portuguese. The ear hook style is European.
Have you tested the pearls? If you rub them against your teeth, real pearls feel gritty, imitation feel smooth.
If we go by the languages, the earrings could have been made in Spain, Portugal, Latin America, Philippines, or other countries where these two are spoken.

My guess is Spain, possibly with Majorica pearls, quality imitation pearls from the island of Mallorca.

It is the makers mark of the goldsmiths; Antonio Triunfo from Naples, Italy

That makes sense, Naples has strong historic ties with coastal Spain. A lot of Catalan and Spanish names there.

Very likely Spanish, Portuguese or from former colonies. 1960s from the looks of them. Do you think box original?

Not Majorica. They mark their stuff with their own name.

I think I see a gold mark on the back of the pearl cup. If these are Italian, it's probably 750.

    Well spotted, evelyb. Edited it:

Now, if anyone can read it..... Looks like 735 to me, 715 perhaps? Not a usual European fineness. 916?
The mark on the right looks like a question mark.

Maybe the OP could clean that area and take another close up picture.

I saw that as well, but I'm not daring enough to say that's a mark of some kind, and not just dirt !
